The Poplars Christmas sessions will be on Tuesday 19th & Thursday 21st December, 10-11.30am

 

Due to The Grange Infant School using the centre as a Grotto for the Christmas Fayre, we are unable to hold our Saturday play in December, Our next Saturday play will be on Saturday 3rd February 2018

'New Haw New Mums'
A four week course for new mums, who live in New Haw, to gain up-to-date information about baby development and health.  This is also a great oppurtunity to meet other parents' of babies of a similar age.

This course encourages parents and carers to enjoy bringing up children and get the best out of family life.
It offers positive, practical ways of guiding children so they learn to handle both their feelings and their behaviour.
The course is informal, fun and a great confidence booster.

All courses need to be booked and paid for in advance, costs can be subsidised for some families.

Most of our regular sessions run throughout the year,
not just during school term time -
but please check with us if you're not sure.


We ask for a small donation of 50p per family for sessions held at the centre. You don't need to book any of our regular sessions - just turn up!
 
  
SESSIONS

PLAY & LEARN                                            Thursdays 10.00am - 11.30am
A fun packed session in our ‘play room’ where children aged 0-5 play with all our toys and equipment, alongside their parents, grandparents or carers.  The sessions vary from week to week but include art and crafts activities, sand and water tables, a library, a home corner and a large selection of new toys to suit all ages. There is a story or song time towards the end of the session and the children can help themselves to a healthy snack when the snack bar is open! Play and learn sessions are a fun way for children to play, have fun and share new experiences with their parents or carers

 RHYMETIME                                               Tuesdays 10.00 - 11.30am
(Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session starts to ensure the session starts on time and minimise any disruptions) 
A drop in session for children aged 0-5 and their parents/carers. A 30 minute session gives children a chance to have fun with stories, rhymes & music. After this our playroom is open for free play for any child aged 0 – 5 and their parent/carers.


BABY RHYMETIME                                       Tuesdays 1 - 2pm 
An informal relaxed, session for parents/carers and very young babies (upto 12 months). Come along for some nursery rhymes and a chance to chat and play.


SATURDAY PLAY - THE NEXT SATURDAY PLAY IS 3rd February 2018

First Saturday of each Month 10.30am-12 noon
A session for all working parents/carers (including dads!) who are unable to attend our weekday sessions, we have hot and cold breakfast available and ask for a donation/contribution towards this.
